Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that it is our duty to help the earthquake victims of Turkey, Turkey has fully supported Pakistan in every difficult time, and Pakistan will not leave its Turkish brothers and sisters alone in this difficult time.

On Friday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif arrived in Adiaman from Ankara. At the airport, Turkish Minister of Trade Mehmet Mosh, Minister of Communications and Infrastructure Adel Ismail Olu, Governor of Adyaman, Mehmet Chohadar, President of Turkey Pakistan Friendship Group in Turkish Parliament Ali Shaheen and Turkish diplomatic officials received.

The Prime Minister handed over the relief materials sent by Pakistan to the Turkish authorities for the earthquake victims. A special plane from Pakistan Air Force arrived in Adiaman for the earthquake victims of Turkey. Adiyaman is the city most affected by the recent earthquake in Turkey.

He said that Turkey is Pakistan's long-time friend and brotherly Islamic country. High-quality tents will be prepared from Pakistan for winter and sent to Turkey immediately. We will come out soon, and we will face this problem together with Turkey.

The Prime Minister also met the Pakistani rescue teams participating in the rescue operation in Adiyaman and appreciated their efforts and sacrifices for the rescue of the earthquake victims. The Prime Minister appreciated the rescue operations of the Pakistan Army and Rescue 1122 personnel. On this occasion, the Prime Minister also expressed his condolences to the earthquake victims for the loss of their loved ones.

Talking to the victims, he said that they have come here on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan to express their solidarity with their Turkish brothers and sisters in this difficult time. Pakistan is not alone in this difficult time for its Turkish brothers and sisters. Turkey is a long-time friend and brotherly Islamic country of Pakistan. After the recent floods in Pakistan, Turkish First Lady Amina Tayyip Erdoğan herself raised funds for the victims. Delivered, how can we forget this sentiment when every section including the Turkish leadership, government, and businessmen fully helped the flood victims of Pakistan, the Turkish President himself played a proactive role.

The Prime Minister said that earlier, 500 tons of relief goods including tents, blankets, food, and medicines were sent from Pakistan. It was agreed in the meeting with the President of Turkey that winter tents will be sent from Pakistan. The Prime Minister said that after reaching Pakistan this evening, he will meet the tent makers and instruct them to prepare winter-quality tents on an emergency basis without wasting time, which will be sent to Turkey by air, sea and land routes.

He also assigned the task to Chairman NDMA in this regard. Talking to the victims, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Turkey are like two people who believe in one Allah, one Messenger, and one Quran. Just as Turkey helped the flood victims of Pakistan, so now Pakistan is helping its Turkish brothers. is mobilized for assistance. The Prime Minister said that the Turkish people will get out of this difficult time soon.

The Prime Minister said that he demands from the international community, the United Nations, and other international forums that the world should come forward to help the victims of the earthquake in Turkey. This time is not about politics or personal interests, but about the survival of the victims. We are confident that soon Turkey will get out of this difficult situation. He said that he would also suggest to the Secretary of OIC convening a special meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

He said that today is the time for us to unite and help Turkey, the people of Pakistan understand each other's pain and suffering despite not knowing the Turkish language while the people of Turkey do not know the Urdu language. On this occasion, the earthquake victims raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad, the victims found the Prime Minister among them and thanked him.
