Good news😊 regarding prize bonds worth Rs 7,500, 15,000, 25,000, and 40,000

The last date for encashment of prize bonds of Rs 7,500, 15,000, 25,000, and 40,000 was 30 June 2022.

State Bank of Pakistan has extended the last date for the encashment of prize bonds worth Rs 7,500, 15,000, 25,000, and 40,000.

According to the statement issued by the State Bank, the federal government has provided another opportunity to exchange/cash prize bonds worth Rs 7,500, Rs 15,000, Rs 25,000, and Rs 40,000 for the convenience of the public. It has been extended till June 2023.

The government had fixed June 30, 2022, as the date for the encashment of these prize bonds.

Holders of prize bonds worth Rs 7,500, 15,000, 25,000, and 40,000 can get cash in exchange for these bonds.

These bonds can be converted into premium prize bonds (registered) of Rs 25,000 or Rs 40,000, and they can be converted into Special Savings Certificates or Defense Savings Certificates.

These prize bonds can be redeemed at State Bank Banking Services Corporation offices and commercial bank branches across the country till June 30, 2023.

According to the State Bank, necessary instructions have also been issued to the commercial banks regarding accepting applications for cashing or exchanging the prize bonds till the extended date.

The central bank has further asked bondholders to take advantage of the last chance and convert their savings before June 30, 2023. After the expiry of this extended deadline, said Prize Bonds will not be cashable or exchangeable, and will not be redeemable.
